Kim Tae-hee made her debut as entertainment to a model in the late 90s, started before, in some small roles.
Kim's breakthrough came in 2003 with popular drama "Stairway to Heaven", co-starring Kwon Sang-woo and Choi Ji-woo. Kim played the bad character of the drama, but their appearance and their action has many fans.
Kim Tae-hee then landed a leading role in "Forbidden Love" before the main role in "Love Story in Harvard" (LSIH) next to Kim Rae-won in 2005. LSIH was a huge hit in Korea and some Asian countries, and Kim is a regional superstar.
LSIH is Kim's last drama to date, they highlighted in the film "The Restless" in 2006… a huge budget film, ended in disappointment. Their latest film "dispute" (Ssawoom) is the premiere in December 2007.
Kim Tae-hee was with the people in the commercial films; many of its CF are well received by fans and consumers, but there are critics argue that she should spend more time on the real dramas and movies instead of all advertising films.
One thing, however, undeniable fact, Kim Tae-hee remains as one of the most popular Korean actresses in Asia.
