Choi Mi Hyang debuted in 1995 in the drama of war and love, and changed her name to Choi Ji Woo. Choi was noted for its role in the drama series First Love. Choi co-starred with the actor Bae Yong Joon on the Korean Drama Series (Winter Sonata) in March 2002, which in turn helped it to gain fame from the high popularity of this drama, especially in Japan. It is also known as "ジウ姫" (Princess Ji Woo) by their Japanese fans. Choi has a wide audience watching their Japanese romantic comedy film, everyone has secrets, in which she co-starred with Lee Byung Hun.
